Am looking for information regarding the use of antidepressants for treating depression post-stroke. My mother, who has a history of depression, suffered a right-hemispheric hemorrhage about a year and a half ago. We are definitely noticing an increase in her anxiety and overall lethargy. She is hesitant to try any antidepressants due to her previous experience with them. Any information would be helpful.
