My mood is stable, but I'm worried about the side effects. I feel stiff, clumsy when moving around, somewhat shaky, but what I find most frustrating is that at times I experience difficulty finding words while speaking, and feel overall confused.

As others have said, hang in there. I take 900 mg, and the tremors started showing up after I'd been on it for about 9 months. Luckily for me, they're very mild. The part I resent is the memory loss. However, ask yourself, what price are you willing to pay in order to be able to function the way you want? If your "payment" (memory loss, tremors, whatever else shows up for you) gets too big, have a heart-to-heart with your doc. There are lots of pills out there! Good luck.
