I'm surprised to hear someone getting a Ph.D. in biochem use the following terms:
evil drug
build up a tolerance for and therefore is no longer even effective [if you build up a tolerance, increasing the dose would make it more effective, n'est ce pas?]pushers
addiction [used in a generic, non-technical way]
Just struck me as odd is all.
