food happiness-amisulpride

Posted by dennis on February 5, 2001, at 19:12:56

I am not sure exactly how amisulpride works but I know it affects dopamine, here is my question, I have been taking amisulpride for 2 months now, and I notice sometimes if I eat a lot of food a couple hours after taking a pill I will get happy. So what I am wondering is if the amisulpride increased my dopamine a little bit and then the food increased dopamine to a even higher level which made me happy. I certainly never experienced food happiness before taking amisulpride, so then what I am wondering is if maybe I should increase my amisulpride dosage because maybe I need more dopamine? So that I could be happy even when I am not stuffed with food? I will just start taking 100mg a day instead of my usual 50mg dosage, but if anybody has any ideas or comments then you know what to do.
