I am very thankful for Zoloft, although there are downsides, the benefits for me outweigh the bad. I have not tried anything else, but I have been on 50mg daily for about 5 months. I feel like it has given me a leg to stand on while I recover from the trauma that I've experienced in my life. I haven't had any weight gain, itchiness, etc. However, I have had signifigant loss of libido (boo!), a weird jaw tremor and (ahem) diahrea.
