Hi. I totally emphathize with so many of you!!! I actually was depressed partly because I had gained some weight (I'm normally very thin) and was put on PAXIL!!! My doctor acknowledged my concern with weight and told me that it would not be a problem with this drug. I have since gained 15 pounds in 4 months with this drug. Like many of you, I have found the weight gain to be intolerable and resistant to many of my efforts. This is more depressing than the reasons I had sought out the Paxil...The worst is when people comment on your change, like so many do to me, again, because I was so thin before...but its not my fault!! Its the ****ing medication. I hope to God that more people aren't lied to like we were. Devastating to women.
