I was confused and couldn't function normally,I quit taking it 2 days ago and after that reaction, I plan on never taking anything else again, my anxiety feelings weren't half that bad. My question is how long will I have these side effects of feelings of confusion and bad coordination, dizzy feelings , headache etc... please tell me these feelings will go away SOON! I can't think straight and that is so Scary!

> Don't worry, Buspar is in and out fairly fast. What you describe sounds exactly like how I felt on Buspar too. You must have more endurance than me, because I quit at week one instead of week 2. I mean, I have to go to work and function and drive and stuff, ya know? I felt like I was in dazed confused fog the whole time.

> Anyway, concerning how you felt on Buspar, you aren't alone. I wonder what causes that though? Serotonin agonism? Serotonin antagonism? Both combined? Dopamine antagonism? The metabolite being a NE antagonist? All combined into one quirky mixture? Who knows. Rest assured, it will pass in a few days at most if it hasn't already.

I take 15mg of BuSpar 3x daily for anxiety along w/ 20mg Celexa for depression. i have noticed if i hold off til midmorning to take the first dose of BuSpar my head is clearer afterwards. I am sure there are BETTER drugs out there but personally i am happy w/ this combo...well not the sexual side effects w/ Celexa but have been learning to 'live' w/ it for now.
