In reply to New to Parnate and I have a question, posted by Lisamac on November 1, 2000, at 15:52:36
As a rule, if you have meds left over from something else, you shouldn't try to "reuse" them in this way. It is also generally a bad idea to be taking opioids other than as prescribed.
(Percocet (oxycodone and acetaminophen) does not interact with Parnate, but some opioid analgesics do. Please be careful, ok?)
> I have been on Parnate for 2 weeks. I am still alittle confused as to some of the the drug interactions. I have a severe toothache and can't get into the Dentist's office until tomorrow. I have some Percocet left over from when I had a Hysterectomy. Can anyone tell me if it is safe to take one, or is Percocet considered a no no? Thank you in advance for any replies!
