The thing is that I've never been diagnosed with depression, and I'm fine after I go thru the withdrawal. That's what I was trying to say; it's just the withdrawal part. I suffer from Panic Disorder/Agoraphobia and Generalized Anxiety, so I was given the Paxil for that reason.The reason I'm going off it is because it has not worked at all for me, and I have gained too much weight, but mostly becasue it doesn't work. Anyway, this is why she is trying the Topamax (which I posted about also), since it's working for the patients she has with panic disorder, and it does not cause weight gain!
