Dear Racer,
Thank you so very much for your kind words. They came at an especially wonderful time for me. I'm a writer but can't write when depressed. I'm on the healing side of my second depressive episode and admit to apprehension about starting writing again. Your words of encouragement were just what I needed. Thank you.
Also, I'm not the depression or the anxiety and panic attacks, and you're not the depression or anorexia. They ARE beasts who have crept into our lives and you're so right that they fight for existence. On those days when they seem to be winning, I work very hard at visualizing them across the room, instead of inside my skin where they like to torture me. But, ahhh, Racer, we shall outsmart these beasts and send them packing!!!! ~~~singing~~~ "Hit the road, Jack, and don't you come back no more, no more!"
