> I've been on Nardil for about two weeks at 60mg. I have had the same results from day 5 till now. Its efficent at times and doesn't work at other times during the cours of a day. It seems to work in streaks. I know it hasn't been that long, but has anyone else had these kinds of results initially. Is the dosage to low or to high? Has it not been long enough to determine efficency? Are there any medications to supplement Nardil with. I've tried every med. and combination in the book over the last 6 years except for this one. any thoughts out there?

David, I have depression and OCD, and have found that only certain meds help OCD...have you checked out the OC Foundation article on meds for OCD (www.ocfoundation.org), by Michael Jenike, MD? I don't know if the med you're taking will help OCD (you might need to supplement it with something else, but I don't know what meds you can safely mix with your medication for OCD). Hope you will ask your pdoc about this. I've taken Prozac, Luvox, Zoloft, and Effexor-XR for OCD as well as depression...and am currently on Effexor-XR which seems to help...but I don't think you can mix any of these with what you're taking (isn't it an MAO inhibitor?). You might want to ask Cam, on this list, who's a pharmacist. Best wishes to you!--Cindy W
