I'm sorry to hear of your son's pain. I don't think I can be of much help, but thought I would share my experience. I had migraines along with sinus headaches almost constantly for 2 weeks when I went from 37.5 mg to 75 mg Effexor XR. I had no trouble going from 75 to 150 or 150 to 225. I also take ADDerall and blood pressure medicine. I wasn't on the blood pressure medicine when I first sttarted the Effexor...hmmm, maybe I can help afterall. Has your son had his blood pressure checked lately?
