Sort of.
I definitely have weird vivid dreams, although rarely are they distressing to me, just odd. I don't usually remember the details or care to, but have woken up feeling aware of just having a bizarre dream experience. I think my lack of interest in recalling the dreams is because they are not that emotionally compelling--no major anxiety dreams like I used to have.
As for talking in sleep, I have experienced waking up hearing myself talking as I awoke. It feels less like purposeful talking (like in my dream I am trying to say something) and more like a sort of vocal tic, ie, making odd vocalizations that are somewhat speechlike, but not really like the usual speech sounds I use when actally speaking. Sometimes, I would still be "sleeptalking" this way a few moments after I was already awake--like a tic needing to be expressed.
I also have had myoclonus from effexor (and from Paxil)--muscle twitches and jerks, when at rest, especially right before sleep.
The sleeptalking and myoclonus are pretty much gone now that I take Serzone, which helps me sleep. It counteracts the activating aspects of the effexor for me--jitteriness, twitchiness, insomnia. Come to think of it, perhaps it has calmed the bizarre dream thing, too.
