It was interesting because I had just met this person and yet I already had common links with her. But then, there are so many dimensions to a person that don't come across through letters or message boards that I couldn't really say I "knew" her well, even though we had chatted. I don't really see it as much different from having a letter writing relationship and then meeting the person. Sometimes it clicks, sometimes not.
There are others with whom I chat more frequently and would love to meet in person. I would personally rather press flesh than keys on a keyboard.
