> This is my first time on this board. I have been under treatment for depression for many years, off and on.I have also been recently diagnosed with adult ADHD. I was currently switching from Welbutrin to Effexor to relieve my depression, when the ADHD thing came up. My depression is already starting to lift and I seem to be tolerating the side effects well so far, but it has only been about 10 days.

I was prescribed Effexor for ADD and depression. I liked what it did, I also took it with the ritalin, and liked that combo best of anything I've tried. However, I had some blood pressure problems and had to get off Effexor and it was hard to go through the withdrawal. I'm on Zoloft now and it's OK but I think it may flatten my emotions too much.
