this might sound like it's out of nowhere, but this sort of thing has happened to me many times both in and out of treatment. is there an event in history-yours or anyones-that affected you deeply and that corresponds to the day you started feeling bad? i can no longer recall what the events were, but during one of my episodes, i discovered that that particular day corresponded w/not one but THREE particularly horrible historical events. i'm sure you're well aware of the intangible forces that act on all of us-i even believe that many depressed people have a harder road to walk because we feel these things whereas your "normal"(whatever the hell THAT is) joe just shines them all on by. my $.02!
