Since I have been on Effexor (2 months) I have also started clenching my jaw severly at night. I'm on 300 mg XR. Sometimes its so bad that I can't chew the next day. I've found that taking alot of advil helps with the stiffness and pain, but not with the clenching. Maybe taking a muscle relaxer at night?? I also take klonopin and have noticed it helps with the clenching alittle. Sorry I can't help more.
