marc,
my pdoc told me his depression was so bad, that many times, it was only partially relieved by medication. He also mentioned that he had been depressed since 12 years old. One time I asked him how he got through medical school, and he replied that he felt so passionate about his studies and hoping to get himself better that studying was not difficult. Janice
