If the only reason for your going off of Celexa was because of sleep disturbances then simply go back on it and take 100mg of trazadone at night. This is what I do to combat my insomnia from effexor and I love the stuff. If you are seeing a GP they will not give you the traz. They do not know what they are doing when it comes to psychopharmacology. If you are already seeing a psychiatrist then I am sure the trazadone will not be a problem. Another possibility is remeron/30mg/night. Once again, a GP will not give this too you.
ADs do tend to flatten out emotions. In our case, this helps with depression. If you cannot feel anything, then what is there to be depressed about?
You might want to ask Cam about Wellbutrin - he is taking it and it seems to be doing the job.
Serzone is usually given to a patient who has not responded to other ADs. It is also given to the anxious depressive as the antianxiety effect is noticed within the first week or two. There is also a lower incidence of sexual dysfunction reported with the use of serzone. Good luck!
