If I am not mistaken, 420 is cannabis lingo. I have heard 2 different explanations (both of which I have been either too lazy or uninterested to research). 1) 420 is the police code for a marijuana possession arrest; 2) 4:20 is the time of day you should wait until before smoking your first joint of the day. Otherwise you get nothing done and the day ends up wasted (pardon the pun). (I work until 4:30, so I miss my chance by 10 minutes every day - damn).I believe this does put 420, 2000's post into perspective though, doesn't it.
