I am usually in this site while my wife is putting my daughter to bed. I do read one of the two stories to her (my 5 year old, not my wife) in between posts. My wife still lays with my daughter until she falls asleep (we won't go there, okay). My wife usually falls asleep for an hour or two, giving me plenty of time to peruse posts. Also, I arise at 5:00 am (MST) to leave for work at at 6:30 am, giving me a half an hour in the morning. Some days at work (at the Mental Health Clinic) I have access to the internet and take a look on breaks and lunch. On the days I am at the store I do not have internet access (something I am going to bring up with the boss) so this is when I fill prescriptions.

Right now I am teaching myself pediatric psychiatry and trying to find safe and effective medications for pervasive developmental disorder; also trying to improve my understanding of Alzheimers and Parkinsonism; and looking for information to produce handouts for the docs and therapists on the advantages/disavantages of atypical antipsychotics, as well as another handout on adv/disadv of the mood stabilizers.

Hey Cam,

Since you mentioned the pro's & con's of atypical antipsychotics, any thoughts on amisulpride & sulpiride....? I've also been looking into them lately... these sites may or may not be of some use:

amisulpride: http://solian.com.ph/

sulpiride: http://sanofi-synthelabo.com.ph/library/dogmatil.shtml
