Jeez..do you think maybe you're being a little...
well...defensive? I don't think he was being
critical or expressing his viewpoint in a rude
way....he was just sharing an observation, and it
seemed to me to be in a more wistful, sad spirit
than a critical one. You're response strikes me
like when a worker is unhappy in the workplace and
the boss simply shrugs and says "well there's a
stack of applications by the door, see you later".
