Gail, Janice, & CA, thanks for your expressed support & the same to those of you who wished me well, and just didn't know how to express it.. : )

My posting from a few days back is bang on. Massive amounts of 'alternative' therapy are making a huge difference to me, as well as getting the ADs out of my system, improving my nutrition and exercise routines, lots of movies, sleep, sunshine, enjoyable companions, reading and making a point of having fun all help. Also having completed my slew of Kaftaesquese (sp) courses and taking time for me as well as dealing with the underlying issues that surfaced makes a huge difference. And the support (in many forms) love and compassion of friends and family all contributed to me feeling much better than I have in some time. And of course my intent and efforts.

Beside the book I noted above I also recommend the somewhat dry but bang-on book "A Manual for Life" which you can find out more about at http://www.pdseminars.com -- and their programs and courses (including Disengaging Depression and Come Alive) are even more commendable as there theories are very sound in practice. Jock & Ben who founded and run the Haven (check the url for more on them) are wonderful guys who lead by example. Both were MDs who are well grounded in eastern and western thought and practices and apply the best of both worlds.

So I'll be hanging out here less but checking in semi-regularly as I do find it to be a fine community here and I need to connect with and focus on my immediate community even more.

Namaste!

DJ

P.S. -- Cam W., I really enjoy your postings. If I was seeing a therapist, which I never hope to do again, you would be top of my list if you were out here on the wet coast as your postings are full of compassion, good will and grace. And I imagine that you are a fine and supportive friend as well, off-line as well as on.

And Dr. Bob thanks again for a third chance, your graciousness and the fine service you offer! Your new pre-post feature is a wonderful addition.
