Re: Celexa and OCD Concerns

Posted by Manny on January 20, 2000, at 16:23:03

Has anybody read the information on increased carcinogenic incidence in rats (small intestine) at relatively low doses of Celexa? It's clearly stated in the drug literature, but nobody seems to talk about it. Sorry to point this out. Since I have OCD, this is a recurring concern. I am now on Celexa (having switched from Prozac). What do the rest of you OCD people think that are now on Celexa or contemplating same? I'd like to stay on Celexa, but now I have to worry about something else, as well. Ideas?
