You may want to get a second opinion; it can't hurt. You may be bipolar II and perhaps you experienced the hypomanic elements as pleasurable and not problematic, but then the Prozac could be adding fuel to the fire i.e. it could cause you to cycle rapidly or precipitate a manic episode. What other drugs did you take? I never thought of it asa first-line drug. I'm pretty sure the standard is something like

lithium or depakote
depakote + lithium or depakote + carbatrol
lithium + depakote + carbatrol
