OCD is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in which the subject (yikes, that sounds clinical) has unwanted obsessions, or intrusive thoughts, and compulsions,or where the person acts on these thoughts.....such as the textbook feeling that a catastrophe may occur if one doesn't continously wash his hands, keep germs at bay by cleansliness etc.
