Hi Janice :-)

I must say, we have the same dx's and the same symptoms. I too have a severe fear of flying and driving. When I was younger it wasn't a problem, the older I've gotten the worse it gets. Riding in the car with my husband I hold the armrest white-knuckled, my heart-rate over 130 and my teeth grinding, I last maybe 10 minutes and then order him to let me drive or take me home. I did make a 1-hour journey around Thanksgiving, Adderall and Prozac both in my system at the time, but that was the most relaxed I'd been in at least 3 years.

I too am interested in the connection of these disorders and symptoms, and how to go about treating them, especially since they often require polar solutions. Also, I can take 20 mgs. of Adderall and go right back to sleep, although I think my sleep isn't as healthy, I don't feel "rested" afterwards.

In thought,
dove
