I know there are existing chat room for ADD. (I have't read this thread though except this post.) But there are free cgi scripts for chat rooms but that would take Dr. Bob's help to set it up.
From scratch alternatives would include using aol instant messenger, ICQ, PowWow or similar. (However, AOL has blocked all but its own chatware.) Tere are also Java Chat Setups, but I've never been happy with them -- they demand so much of a PC's system resources.
The other alternative is to use another web site that includes real time chat features, such as yahoo clubs, or excite, or delphi...
I'm procrastinating finishing a design project right now. Maybe I can QUICKLY look up some of the existing ones.
But if Dr. Bob has the bandwidth and is willing to give it a try, I'd be willing to help get it going (find the cgi code, design the layout, or whatever.) Come on Dr. Bob, its worth a try isn't it?
