Was it successful in reducing desire for alcohol?My primary reason for starting Naltrexone was to limit alcohol consumption and cravings. It has done a good job of that. The unexpected effect was to augment my AD's. My pdoc was surprised at the result also. I had to print out a couple of pages from this website to show him it was being used successfully (at times)as an AD. I've never even seen it mentioned in some of the newsgroups dealing with depression meds.
