PTSD and situationally dependent stability

Posted by chy on October 2, 1999, at 7:36:26

I was thinking I was a lot better the last few months, haven't flinched away from a loud noise; haven't fled a public place; doing much better...

So I volunteer to cover a shift in another store yesterday -- just 3 hours -- no big.

Okay, learned a lesson there, just need to think it through and figure out exactly what it was. (oh btw, hi, I'm new here) Obviously, I'm not so much dealing better as have brought my local haunts into my "safe" zone.

Anyone find this true for them?
