I'm on Remeron. A lot of pdocs. won't put Bipolars on it because it could throw them into a manic episode, but about 9 months ago I was suicidal for weeks and he was trying anything and Remeron helped. He tried to take me off of it 5 months later , and I instantly fell into a bedridden depression. Now I never miss a dose and feel normal. It does increase appetite. But I'm the one who puts the food in.

I suppose that is an improvement: One can't usually expect a personal transformation after two weeks on an AD. My sex drive is still here and does not seem to be effected. I find I am asserting more often, something I always need to work on. Kate, how are you doing? I'd be interested to know.
