This is the big question! The rumor seems to be that it doesn't, but nobody can tell for sure. I hope not! I asked my pdoc to ask around and will let you know what he says.

Possibly both. There definitely is a food craving aspect to it - I'm sort of embarrassed of some of the things I ate while on Nardil (basically, huge amounts of sugar in single sittings).
It's not exactly that Nardil makes you hungry, but it blocks the thing in your brain that tells you when you're *full*. (Don't ask me how it does this, please! All I know is it takes place in or near the hypothalamus.)
