So Dr. Bob, what do you make of this? People with depression have early and prolonged first REM periods and increased overall % REM, and most effective antidepressants suppress REM (moclobemide and nefazodone being of dubious effectiveness :->), so does that mean dreaming is bad for us? And if not, what does it mean?
