The first AD I was prescribed, it seems about 100 years and 100 AD's ago, was Imiprimine. I took it for about a year before I too was offered the new "wonder drug" Prozac.
Since it was so long ago, I don't remember all the side effects, but three stick in my mind: weight gain, excessive sweating, AND my sex life *improved.*
If you decide to go the tricyclic route again, please share your experience here. I might just re-consider them myself.
