Do not take St. John's Wort with Zoloft, Paxil, Prozac, Luvox, Wellbutrin, Effexor or any of the MAOI antidepressants such as Nardil or Parnate. This is not an idle warning. Deadly interactions can occur between the antidepressants and St. John's Wort, even with small doses. The interaction is called Serotonergic Crisis and results in high fever, abnormal muscle movements like twitches, jerking and increased reflexes, rarely generalized seizures, anxiety, shivering, sudden drops in blood pressure, insomnia, confusion, delirium, shock and death. The above medications are safe by themselves and even in certain combinations with each other, but you cannot combine an MAOI with any other antidepressant and you can't take St. John's Wort with any other antidepressant (at least as far as scientists have been able to determine). I don't know about the other herbal remedies you described and I will check them out and get back to you.
