I appreciate your efforts at providing a reading list. I read everything about bipolar disorder and neuroscience that I can get ahold of (now that the ECT has lifted the debilitating depression, I CAN READ).

So, here's another book that may interest you. It's another that discloses the nature of bipolarity as, both, a neurostructural and biochemical anomoly. Never fear. It doesn't contain any crap about the neopsychology revolution other than putting it in its proper receptacle. It's another book that removes the blame and shame so very long associated with manic depression.

title: A Mood Apart
author: Peter C. Whybrow, M.D.
pub: Basic Books/ HarperCollins, 1997

Thank You,
Nancy
