Personality conflicts & Inderal (not related :-)

Well, psychiatrists are people, too. You hope that
they don't have as many personality conflicts as
your average joe, but they're not perfect, either.
And if they have limitations, it's important for
them to recognize them.

Also, there's such a thing as liking a patient too
much, too... :-)

Inderal (propranolol) is used both for hypertension
and also for anxiety, probably most commonly for
performance-type anxiety. For more information on
beta-blockers (this class of medications), but
not, unfortunately, on their use for anxiety, you
can take a look at Psychopharmacology Tips. Or
search around elsewhere.
