I'll be quite honest. And I'll disregard any opposition from "no-no" people.
For some people, regardleass of any "big warnings", amphetamine use, as prescribed, is the only effective treatment. Yes, it's addictive. But your quality of live is of infinite more importance than the worries and troubles of addiction. I do not recommend this as any sort of common medical approach. But is depression is unresponsive to everything, for years and years, try the amphetamine class - and don't worry about addiction and dependence. The resrictions that manifest are the effect of the illness of depression. The illness controls... Ask the man himself, Mr. Sigmund Fraud, he certainly loved his cocaine abuse. Find a doctor that is willing and able to try this, and stay away from "frightened-about-addiction-docs" - they may just prolong this further. Again, it's addictive - upping the dose, needing, wanting. It is ultimately yourself that must weigh the odds, together with a compationate doc.
