Sorry I haven't checked in for so long. Life has been busy. I think of everyone here sometimes.
I feel bad that I've stopped chatting with my old friends here, like Jane and Norosegarden. I hope you're doing well.
It's difficult to balance all my new priorities in life with Babble.
I'm still working full time and I'm still into that game I play. I've made a lot of friends and done some traveling.
I'm pretty much almost completely over my social anxiety. It doesn't stop me from doing anything now.
I'm confident and happy and this seems to be my default mood.
My career could take some work but I've vastly improved my social life.
I know people from around the world now and I just recently decided to start dating someone that I'd known for a while.
It's going well so far.
I'll try to get back into the habit of reading Babble to see how everyone is.
I think I'd like to meet up in Toronto and see Dr. Bob and others. Aw, I still get the warm fuzzies when I think of him. :-P Now I get to actually cuddle with someone who can cuddle back. :-)

I'm so very happy for you Deneb. I recall your posts several years ago when I just started checking in on psychobabble. You seemed so lost and lacking in any ideas or hopes of how to get ahold of your life. You were way more invested in Dr. Bob than seemed healthy. You were working a crummy job, had few ideas for how to make things better, seemed a little lost at sea.
Then you started posting all these strides forward. The games, the jobs, the relationships. Now a boyfriend, a job. Things are falling in place. You are falling in place. You are making a life for yourself. What an accomplishment.
And it's especially good to hear from you to see that, not only have you done well, but you have kept in mind the way you were, the support you received and have taken the time to reconnect.

Hi Deneb! I've been doing alright :) This winter has been kicking my butt, but I'm snowshoeing and knitting right through it. Literally! I was so happy to see your post and that you're doing well. That's really inspiring to me and It's also just good to see your name pop up! Yup, I'm still creating. Guess I just can't shake it :)
