Smokers concerned about their health

Posted by Lamdage22 on July 4, 2014, at 4:03:41

Electronic cigarettes have many advantages over regular cigarettes and for me, its easy to switch because the clean tar and CO free steam is very pleasant compared to this dirty smoke that is choking you.

Its usually a bit cheaper, compared to cigarettes its only a fraction as harmful. You dont smell like sh*t. No tar on your fingers, no yellow teeth.. Better endurance.. the list goes on and on.

If you want to try i can recommend an e-cig for beginners.

there's zero tar in ecigs, no threat to people in a crowded room. within ten days of two packs a day for decades, all of my symtoms disappeared. i coughed every night for ten minutes of hard coughing. when i sneezed it felt like a sledge hammer to my chest, and wheezing, and breathless after one flight of stairs, are gone. ecigs will save millions of lives..millions.

what does the fda want to do with ecigs? shut them down. but keep cigarettes. nothing is 100% safe, egigs are 99%.

I have a provari. http://www.provape.com/#
casaa is our mouthpiece, all volunteers and they ripped the fda to sh*t.
the e-cig forum is massive and growing. 10 year projection--ecigs will be bigger than tobacco cigarettes.

you probably know this stuff. i have a vamo which is awesome and cheap. love it but this provari is american made and built like a tank. the best. my doc said i just extended my life an extra ten years. my apartment does not smell like goat sh*t anymore.

it's awesome to meet a brother here.

Yeah....you guys are on the right track and I say that as an ex-smoker of 15 years (quit 20 yeras ago...thank the Lord) Wish I'd had this option cuz I know I would have quit years sooner.

And these asshats in NY (oh thank you Major Bloomberg can I have another?) jumped all over it right away, didn't they?

http://www.capitalnewyork.com/article/city-hall/2014/04/8544438/ban-e-cigarettes-takes-effect-today

I have an old acquaintance who lives in NYC and she is so pissed as she is successfully off a 25 year habit of inhaling death every day and now they are trying to make her better (nothing is perfect...do these fools KNOW how freakin' addictive nicotine is?!!) choice appear evil, criminal, and dirty. So many misguided politicians with so many years to &^%%& us.

grrrrrrr..........

i was dubious about the inhalers when i quit - about 5 years ago now...

but i've come around after seeing some of the newer ones. one of the guys here showed me his and it looked like a pretty glass blown pipe. reminded me of how much we liked various pipes for smoking mj...

i think i would go about quitting smoking by substituting for the inhalers...

i've always followed smokers rules bans don't effect me. ny is trying to ban eliquid now. in other words, they will kill thousands of smokers. great job you effing idiots. people see ecigs and say you're still smoking. really? i don't see fire. the stupidity is unreal....not really.

those f*ck*rs will ban ice cream next. no end in sight. i say, the government needs to mind their own goddam business.

Im tired of sh*t like this. Id say that this produces my symptoms of depression and perhaps even psychosis at times.
I am saddened by how people choose to run this place.

They should be working at McDonalds where they cant screw it up for everyone. This permanent threat of ignorance and arbitrary.

FDA wants reputable family business' out of business but CASAA hired their own scientist. fda hasn't done sh*t, no studies.
follow the money.. if they kill off advanced ecigs then who is left. BIG TOBACCO! CIGS and cigalikes which they have. it is a total disgrace. Scam. I would walk to dc to march. as it is i've written every call to action that casaa have asked for.

New York? yep. too stupid to know that customers can buy two. they sell cigarettes at $12 a pack and that makes them a lot of money.
they know nothing about e cig danger. hey eCIG? must be bad.
the government has no business telling people that have moved to "harm Reduction."cigarettes--4000chemicals, tons of carcinogens and smoke.

ecigs--propylene glycoh, vegetable glycerin, food flavoring(no coloring) all kosher. nicotine is inspected by the best labs in this country..
exactly the same as big pharma's crap that has a 5% average of working
here's why ecigs win: they have thousand of flavors and they taste amazing. like apple pie? vape it to get your nic fix. why ecigs are the best method to quitting. you still have the hand to mouth feeling like smoking. you can order these mg of nicotine in your eliquid. 24mg 18mg 12mg 6mg 3mg 0mg i'm at 24 because i was a heavy smoker but i'm almost totally at 18 now. the hand to mouth, plumes of vapor like a cigarette, cheaper, the worst thing in an ecig is nicotine. 5 members of my family died of lung cancer caused by tobacco cigarettes--no one died from nicotine cancer--doesn't exist.
ecigs over twenty years(I think less) will save 10 to 20 million people.
now tell me again why they want to ban this and not cigarettes. it is the dumbest thing that these stupid people will ever try to accomplish. not just dumb but they are now killing people that cannot stop smoking. We have tried to get the fda to begin long term testing. nope. our government wants control and money. big tobacco and pharma have, i think, the most lobbyist in washington. we have better health but could never compete money wise.

damn shame.

I totally agree with you. A good friend started on e-cigs two years ago and hasn't had a real cigarette since. She "smokes" around me and it doesn't impact me at all. Just water vapor. I quit 17 years ago using nicotine gum and I still use it. I told my doctor this and she said - so what? Nicotine itself is pretty harmless, just a very addictive mild stimulant like caffeine. As long as you're not inhaling smoke and harming your lungs, who cares about being addicted to nicotine?

I really don't get all this angst about e-digs, wanting to regulate them, etc. It makes no sense to me at all.

I dont ;)

In 2018 Germany will ban everything above 20mg/ml

But i will just counteract with an awesome clearomizer.

20 is fine for most. you can always buy a small bottle of nicotine if you feel the need. it stores in the freezer a long time. a lot of people are stocked to the gills on it waiting to see how bad the fda thinks they can screw us.

Do you think it will be legal to purchase pure nicotine when at the same time Liquids can't be sold over 20mg/ml?

That would be funny ;)

So what are the plans in the US?

I am hoping, with the new economical union of USA + EU i could order stuff in the US if our stupid politicians screw us over.

Some m*th*rf*ck*ng idiots want to ban vaping into Pharmacies. That would destroy vaping.
