I've been under a lot of stress lately, the 8 hours a day, 5 days a week kind, of constant anxiety, and my brain and body are exhausted.
I took a little extra seroquel, so maybe I can bring it down a notch, get some deep sleep, give my brain a rest.
One of the reasons seroquel might help me is that I can ruminate, and my thoughts start to race a bit, and I'm like a car in neutral with rpm's way too high. And that happens especially while trying to sleep!
I don't mean to compare myself to a car, but it fits.
This morning feels a little better.
Thanks. :-)

Risperdal helps me a lot with stress, so I understand why Seroquel would help on a lot of levels.

It's astonishing to me how much a week or two of stress reduces my ability to cope with anything. My bank is raising my charges, and I want to close the account. The idea was so overwhelming to me that I nearly broke into tears.

My husband is also astonished at times. :(

I hate my moodiness. :-(

To the best of your knowledge, what is causing your moodiness?

What are you doing about it?

I am glad that you keep posting here.

Some people increase their dosage of AP during times of stress or breakthrough symptoms. Perhaps you can discuss this with your doctor.

Are you still feeling unsteady? I dislike my own moodiness. Is there something you can get absorbed in that takes little energy to enjoy?

Stress....
I'm trying to get more sleep,
I called my Pdoc. I'm taking a little extra seroquel.
Who knows if that really helps. I just want to smooth things out a bit, not feel so extreme.

Thanks :-)

Yeah, I feel unsteady.
Many episodes of my favorite shows, courtesy of Netflix.
The instant Netflix thing, lots of free episodes.

He's being very nice to me.

Lol, yeah
Recently...
I'm pressed for time, and I must buy a Halloween costume so I can go to my friend's Halloween party. I'm havin a hard time finding one, I can't afford one, and I feel guilty because I need to spend money fir a mother's day gift.

I'm getting lost in a very tall, large hospital building, that in places resembles a school I attended.
I ran into Angelina Jolie, who turns out to be very nice, and she invites me to spend time with her. I finally find her at some large performance or movie where she's sitting in a row next to her father, George bush, and a couple of actors (no brad Pitt).
Sorry you asked ? ;-)

Another dream...
I am trying to drive home, but a familiar route becomes completely unfamiliar, and I'm lost. I get stuck in this zoo/carnival place, and I'm freaking out and annoyed, and I'm asking people how do I get out of here, and they're just indifferent, and want to charge me money. Somehow I end up following John cougar Mellancamp in my car in this swampy kind of park where he goes running. I'm driving faster and faster, but the road is getting more narrow, and flooded and swamp-like, and I can't keep going. He was telling me how great this park is, but I'm just trying to get home.
Then I'm at a house where extended family are, and I've got a cousin with some strange developmental disability that always leaves him looking like he's three.

This really sucks
50 of seroquel, .5 klonopin, 150 effexor xr, 200 lamictal...
Why do I take these?
I don't think I can avoid this anxiety.

Avoidance and anxiety propagate each other. Anxiety is my bear as well :-(

About those dreams. So unsettled, like no one main thread to anchor them. I found Phillipa's impressions interesting especially regarding the celebraties. With such a mishmash I might long for dreams of a good ripping storm. Where one drives one's car just ahead of a tsunami or tornado. Some awe. And inspiration? Or maybe swimming. Swimming or flying. Horses.

Can you do something diverting this weekend? No obligations I hope.

I was only on it a short short time but lamictal had a paradoxical effect on me. I was very cranky. Unbearably. The rash was the real deal breaker. Is the lamictal recent?

No, it's not, but who knows? It could contribute to the anxiety.
I absolutely recall that effect in the beginning.

I am obligated until Sunday. I took .25 of klonopin just now. I really avoid taking extra, and my doc would prefer i take more seroquel. Seroquel just isn't doing it.
I've got a headache, and I was a little trembly for a lot of the day.
I know I shouldn't be anxious, but I am.

Sid, that struck me as being drug induced in some way.

I have no knowledge of the drugs you take except the benzo.

What do you think?

I appreciate the thought, but the meds haven't changed. My anxiety level was very, very high.
It's down now. Now, I feel a little depressed.
