Moody

Posted by sleepygirl2 on November 11, 2011, at 21:30:30

I've been irritable.
And really tense, and my head is too busy.
I will take a little bit of seroquel.

Why do you think you're feeling so tense? Does Seroquel normally help you when you feel like this?

My pdoc told me that patients had described a small bit of seroquel as feeling like a warm bath for the brain.I was still too afraid to try it.

I don't know really.
Unhappy life circumstances, feeling trapped.
I was a bit hyped up yesterday. Seroquel makes me sleep, blunts me a bit. I'm still not all that comfortable.
Exercise would probably help.

That would make me pretty suspicious.

Seroquel is a pretty sedating atypical. They aren't all like that.

Ugh. I had that much of this week. The positive was that I stayed awake. The negative was that I got nothing much done. I think I underestimate the physical component of my problems. I don't think it's entirely passed, though I'm sleeping better at night now. That should help.

A bit of Risperdal helped. I hope Seroquel helped you.

> feeling trapped.

I don't know what you do about feeling trapped. Trying to escape seems bound to fail.....you just increase the power of the trap.
I'm tempted to say you should fashion yourself a nice big trap and move in and ask it to keep you there forever.
You will be evicted in no time.

One time a long time ago Greg offered to help me trial resperidol we split a .125mg pill and we felt hungover. The pdoc said "with that effect you definitely don't need it". Seems even benzos now tire me and used to give energy. I think I'm out growing in old age my need for meds. And it feels wierd as a lot of years on them. Sigi I'm trapped also but the trap is the economy as would move to warm weather if homes were selling. Big mistake paying for house cash leaving nothing else. Never again. Phillipa and the house won't release me?

I don't know about the warm bath thing. It is super sedating though.

A year or two ago I was working on the desk with another volunteer who had come from the US and still had family there.
We discussed house prices in Las Vegas and she wondered if she should buy one and get a brother to manage it for her.

It hasn't happened here (yet).
Everything is so interconnected and so much money is owed from everything to everything and everyone else.
I remember when debt was only for the rich and really not common.

I don't know how much house prices have fallen where you are, but that Las Vegas house was in the 30,000's, as I recall, which is what I paid for our first house in 1970 something.

If this is how difficult it is to get rid of debt, then the problems may be with us for some time.
I find the whole thing very difficult to think about.
In Spain there was a real mood about it which was easy to pick up on.

Or is it like saying I will live as badly as comes naturally to me and someone will be sure to save me?

30,000 is back to 60's prices pretty horrible. Like ours 2200 sq ft bought for around 240,000 new and then a few years ago before this crash or whatever he sold his identical home for 280,000. Now going same homes for 220,000. Not hit as bad as some areas but when all your money is tied up in a dumb house you got to hold on. But if moving up to bigger and better now is the time to take a hit on the smaller home as the bigger home will take a bitter hit and you win. And this is NC. Can I come to Aussie land as it's summer there now and love the heat? Love PJ

Can I have been right about the 30,000 odd price? It sounds a bit low.

This is how it will be when I don't remember the kids when I see them.

It is like my mind is a clothes drier left on and everything is swirling around.

I don't know about Australia. I'd prefer somewhere with people who are fun to talk to like Vietnam.

If you like it hot and humid you could move to Dakar.

Sigi definitely could be right about the house price in Las Vegas. Another good google. And I'm on the next plane for Aussie Land. Can I buy Uggs there also? PJx

I don't know. I've had only one period in the past year plus. But my body still has hormonal changes. Just not to the point of inducing a period.

So I am pretty sure I'm affected, but I have no idea when.
