Moving back home

Posted by Christ_empowered on June 30, 2011, at 19:48:02

I'm moving back home, and I'm happy about it. My landlord made up an excuse to go into my apartment while I was out of town (I still am) and decided my apartment was too messy, so they're not going to renew my lease. I think its because I'm kinda crazy-no job, kinda eccentric, etc. Its OK though; I was getting tired of that town, and there's more to do back home. My parents said after a couple months they'll either find a place to rent or find a place they can afford to buy and pull some strings to try to get me a job.

I'm happy. I think maybe this is God's way of getting me out of a situation that was wearing me down--no job, no schooling, no friends, nothing to do. Back home there are lots of schools and things to do, so I'll be fine.

I do wish my landlord had just told me they weren't going to renew my lease, instead of pulling this little stunt. I'm decidedly unimpressed by this behavior.

Wish me luck!

Oh, CE, some people do not understand respect, whatever renter's rights are in your area.

You didn't do anything to warrant this.

Home sounds good. Not everyone has this, so yeah, maybe it's a gift, and I am glad you have it. Less stress plus a
support system and access to schools.
This sounds really good.

Absolutely and always!

There are no mistakes in God's world. There is a hidden meaning behind all events. I truly believe that! My prayer every morning is for God to pave me a path and I simply commit to walking it. Just do what is in front of you.

I wouldn't sweat the job and school stuff so much. Get in a good living situation. Find a nice productive job that encourages you to be social and have good relationships with your peers.

I really think families are going to have to start bonding together a lot in the coming years. Social services and institutions are going to be trimmed down. Being on good terms with your family is going to be a very valuable asset in the next decade. I think you are doing the right thing.

Looking forward to hearing about your move!

CE I think it's good thing. Parents with connections also. Did you decide against online schooling? Still looking into medical field? Write if get a change. Familiar places and your folks sound good to me. Sorry about the apartment. Phillipa

yeah, I'm crazy lucky. Lots of people with severe mental illness end up homeless or in jail or sometimes in institutions. My family really wants the best for me, and they're willing and able to help me become a productive member of society.

Yay :-) I am pleased by your good
fortune here, CE.

Btw, you might contribute more than you already realize. That said, it'd be great for you to have a setting to let your talents bear fruit.
