I noticed that my pdoc is going grey. I like it. I think it makes her look distinguished.

I found my first gray hair at 15. Now there are too many to count. :) They don't make me look distinguished, just washed out and kinda sad. I really need to touch up my roots.

I wish I had a streak of white at the front, like Rogue. I think that would look neat. :-)

i'm going grey. i was a bit horrified but then my friends said 'thats why we have been dying our hair since our early twenties'. i was in my late twenties / early thirties when mine started coming through, so i guess i'm lucky.
i pulled them out for a bit. but now there are too many, and i'm worried that if i keep that up i'll start going bald. if they are very short (and a bit spiky) i'll pull them, but if they are long i leave them alone now. want to try and age gracefully / naturally if possible... but will see how that starts to look (fairly dark hair naturally).
apparently that is why people get foils done. to try and cover the grey. lighter colour than natural is supposed to be more flattering generally, and does a better job of covering grey than trying to dye them darker and having roots regrowth to deal with.
guess it shows my age to be worrying about such things...
my friends mother was very lucky indeed to get two streaks of WHITE in the front of naturally black hair. couldn't have been luckier. distinguished, indeed. i reckon i'm going to get a very salt and pepper look that will just make me look older than i would look if i dyed it... will take some time for me to see...
one of my undergrad psychology professors had the most beautiful steel grey long hair. i kinda want that. she didn't look old for it... the greys are a coarser texture... maybe say goodbye to flyaway hair once and for all. i do envy straight black asian hair. dammit.

I wouldn't know when started getting grey as at about 30 went back to dying dark hair blond which had done since a teen. I foil mine have for years. I do know I'm gray around the front of hairline. Some are lucky and have beautiful gray hair which doesn't age them. I was told my Grandmother was perfect all white in 20's. Phillipa

I'm in my fifties. I had red hair and now it's blond. I suppose eventually it will get lighter and lighter until it's white.

It's weird. I still see myself as a redhead and am surprised when people say I'm blond.

Do you have a blond complexion or freckled like a lot of redheads seem to be? Me age spots and was a natural brunette now dyed blond forever. Seriously just never heard of this. Well better than gray? Not that anything is wrong with gray some look very well with the grey especially men with speckles of gray. Phillipa

I had freckles when I was young, but don't anymore. I have white hairs on my eyebrow and that depresses me. I have no white or gray hair on my head.

Did you know you can get your eyebrows dyed? Yes it's easy and bingo depression gone!!!!! I bet you look very nice. Don't down yourself. I do that too but such is life right? Love Phillipa

My PDOC is 87 years old. Sharp as a pin. He is beyond grey! I was lucky to find him.

Wow! Your pdoc is old!
My pdoc isn't nearly as old as that. She just had a baby like 5 years ago. I'm going to estimate and say she is either in her late 30's or early 40's. I guess she is going grey pretty early.
My mom is in her late 50's and she only has a few grey hairs. Just looking at her, you wouldn't even see the greys. My grandfather was in his 80's when he died and he still had black hair! My Dad is mostly bald, but most of the little hair that he has is still black.
