For those of you who remember Michael Sans Vie I've stayed in touch with her and she asked me to please post this video of Micheal for his friends to see. The video Is Of pictures of Micheal as he grew and also he is singing a Beatles song as a gift to his Mother on her Birthday. It's just so lovely and she just had it completed. Phillipa ps it's been four years.

I sure that people who *knew* Michael will post. I am sure that his mom passed on the YouTube link to many of his friends.
I don't feel I knew him enough on Babble to make on a comment on the YouTube site.

I cried as I watched Michael grow from boy to young man.
It was a beautiful tribute, and helped me put a face to the voice that Ame Sans Vie has left as a legacy on Babble.

Phillipa, I know that he posted here. I *WAS* the one who gave you his right name after all. I was just confused as to where it is posted, that's all. I lot of people create "In Memory Of" pages on Facebook and I thought it was there also. Because no one is posting on the YouTube link you gave us so I was hoping that it was up on Facebook or something. I am sure that most of his friends who were here on PB have lefr or been blocked. Although if they have been blocked they can still post comments on the YouTube site. I remember Ame Sans Vie, but his name doesn't stick out as great poster - i.e. someone who posted a lot and was a constant part of the PB community. It was a long time ago.
The video however, was well done.

I wasn't a med board poster, so I may not remember him as well as some. However, I recall that he was well liked, contributed a lot to discussions, seemed to be very intelligent, and appeared to have a sweet disposition. I don't recall his being unkind or being sucked into contentious discussions.
He contributed regularly for some time to Babble.
To me that makes for a great poster.
It's sad to think that one's contributions can be forgotten so quickly. Surely one benefit to Babble's archives is that a poster can be remembered.

I remember Ame Sans Vie quite well. He always struck me as a sweet guy, and I was sorry for his loss. The youtube video was very moving; thanks for posting it.

I recognise the name for sure but, but I just don't remember him or his discussions on PB. I am glad that others, such as yourself, do remember him with fondness for that is how he should be remembered. To be honest, I feel sad and guily that don't remember his discussions on the board. I am sure that those who do remember him, will feel the same way you do about him and that makes me feel better.

Phillipa, maybe you could copy and paste the nice comments that people are posting in this thread and then send it to Michael's mom? Not everyone is a member of YouTube so they may not leave a comment there. If you have Microsoft Word you could make each comment a different colour and use a special font.

I'm pretty sure his Mother has a link to babble. But She also is on facebook and did post a link there also. I've talked to some who posted and knew Mike well and they responded there. And the utube as his Mother pointed out to me is free. I will inform her as she's a friend of mine on facebook to view here soon. I sure was hoping that of all the people who just read and don't post that word would spread. I will write to all on my account who knew him. His Mother is so proud and feels at peace right now and is trying to build a life for herself again. Dinah and Free thanks so much for your kind words. Why don't you send her a summary of the comments. If you need me to help with that, I'd be happy to.
If she really wants to find Babble, you won't be able to stop her. Hopefully she'll understand that there has been some turnover since Michael quit posting, but those who were here then cared about him. I don't remember anyone who was on bad terms with Ame Sans Vie.
I did find it a bit disconcerting myself to see how quickly a person's importance to a site can be forgotten. That's not just true of Ame Sans Vie. It's true of all of us. But until Bob closes Babble, his posts and his words here will live on, and anyone who dips into the archive will be able to get to know him. I hope that if his mother does read this thread, that she finds comfort in that.
He was a beautiful little boy. I couldn't see him without thinking of my own son, and wanting to hold him tight. I just can't imagine, I don't want to imagine, what it must be like to lose a child at so young an age.

Dinah that would truly be so helpful as you have a way with words. I spoke with her on facebook earlier today and said let's wait til end of weekend. And that a lot of his friends had left.
