The boards load very slowly. My PC is fine and response time is only an issue here at Babble.

I'm using Google Chrome, but I'm absolutely certain that it is not the cause of what I'm experiencing.
I have a vague recollection about reading some posts (on Admin, I think) about slow loads being something that's done by Bob for some reason or another. Ring a bell? Again, it's only loading the initial page. After that, all is normal.

I use Chrome, too, and I don't have the problem. Sorry, it doesn't ring a bell for me. I used to have a quicktime plug in problem when I used Firefox, but loading an alternative fixed it.
I asked because I accessed the site with IE8 the other day, and it was very slow to load, but Chrome works fine for me.
