I realized I've taken some big steps forward in life lately. And I come back here reading posts, wanting that continuity back to a place that felt like home, even though it's changed. Like the ritual drive by of the house I grew up in or something.
I'm operating at a higher level at work lately, and I have a good relationship that's moving forward like relationships are supposed to move forward. It feels like a real growth spurt. I haven't had a growth spurt for many, many years. I wasn't sure I'd ever have another.
I'm grateful this place was there when it was, and that it's still kinda here. Thanks to all!

That's wonderful to hear. The very best reason to not be here is that you're feeling better.
And in it all, Babble still manages to be a bit helpful. Radical acceptance is so much easier when you are able to accept the good with the bad.
There's nothing like reading an old Babble post of mine to know that even though it sometimes feels like I will never get better, I have.

Babble is like comfort food or an old shoe so to speak for me and it was comforting to see old friends names here. I'm sad so many have left. Phillipa
