Hi Bethland,

I took the liberty of pasting in your original post from newbies and changing the subject line. I don't think I read the thread about addictions you mentioned so I can't comment on that.

I believe there are a lot of posters here who want to improve the world (as well as themselves). We don't always agree on how to do that but at least the motivation is shared. Tonight I'm feeling pessimistic about the chances of doing either but that's another topic entirely.
