Tumbleweeds...

Posted by Angela2 on November 10, 2008, at 19:47:43

Where the heck is everyone?

Right now I'm watching Inside the Actor's Studio 200th anniversary w/ dave chappelle. It's amusing.

So I guess I've been checking the board a lot today. No one is posting. I'm lonely!

Yeah, I've noticed the lack of posting too - but that just happens sometimes. I'm glad you're doing something fun at least!

I've been getting a little bummed. You'd think all those interviews would help, but I haven't heard back from anyone, AND I've overdrawn my checking account again. I paid all my bills for the next two months, and I am pretty well stocked up on food. But I have $10.00 cash and while I really need it to put gas in the car so I can go on interviews (I'm at a half of tank, and my interview tomorrow will probably use most of that), I'm also running low on my meds too.

I've already cut my Prozac by half - 40 mg instead of 80 mg a day. Its better than nothing, but not as good. I've been trying to find a way to get meds for free (I've heard there are some ways to do that), but the best I've found is $4.00 at Walmart for my Prozac for 30 days at 40 MG. However, that would use part of the $10 I have left for gas. They don't seem to cover Wellbutrin or Xanax at all though.

So that's my whining for today. I'm just feeling a little down and needed to whine a bit. I hope you don't mind.

Hi TC
Sorry about the job situation. I am in the same boat. I've been applying places and getting no calls back. Hopefully that will change for you and for me.
So are you saying you can't pay for your meds so you are taking less of them than prescribed?? That's not right. I don't know what to do in that situation. Except, I know there is some govt insurance people apply for. But I think it's for people who can't work.

Hi Angela,

I watched that, too, so I guess we watched it together. I enjoyed it, especially Dave's reaction to James Lipton in real life being consulted by police for interrogation.

I liked that part too Poet. This is cheezy but I liked when they showed clips of the actors that were on the show during emotional moments..
