4 interviews so far and 2 next week!

Posted by TexasChic on November 7, 2008, at 18:57:38

God I hope I get a job soon! One of the interviews next week is literally across the street from where I live! I could walk there! Its at the home office of a facility that makes medical devices. The other is a little less prestigious, but hey, a job is a job, its the home office of a place that sells safety boots. So, so far I've interviewed at a very large plastic company, a surveillance equipment company for businesses, a place that sells sports paraphernalia, and a place that handles the signage for some prestigious companies. Please let one of these come through!!!!

WOW - this is really something!

Remember when you were still at the awful place & you put out Numerous resumes & no reply!

What a turnaround.

Best of luck!!! Although it sounds like you are VERY skilled & don't probably even need it.

hugs, Kath

Thanks you guys!

I really appreciate the support. The unknown is a prime cause of anxiety for me, and there is nothing more unknown than not having a job.

I've been sleeping a lot since my recent unemployment. And I seem to be having a lot of bad dreams. Sometimes I remember them, and sometimes I just have the bad feeling knowing I had a bad dream. A few have been really bad, but most are just annoying, like someone constantly nagging me about something. Some of them are dreams about laying in bed all day and not being able to get up (and being nagged about it). I guess I'm trying to avoid reality, but my subconscious isn't going to let me.

It must be VERY stressful.

Please be sure to take good nurturing care of yourself okay?

We can be take-care-of-me buddies as I am being told to do so due to my bladder infection!

hugs, Kath

Sounds good to me! Kind of like our "I'll hang in there if you'll hang in there" deal. I'm going to go do what I find most comforting, cuddle up with a soft blanket and a good book. I've been rereading the Lord of the Rings trilogy and am about to start the third one.

So now we've got 2 deals going!

I'm not doing as great about the taking care of myself one!! Did a few loads of laundry today - totally unnecessarily.

I think I'm putting off doing the pottery pricing.

All I feel like doing is what you love! Curling up with soft comfy blanket, pillow on my sofa with a good book.

I'm reading River of Dreams by Gay Courter - got it at a used bookstore. It's good

Oh well, I'll do some pricing at least then the curling up thing.

hugs,Kath

At least I'm drinking lots of water/juice, etc & taking Vitamin C & echinecea etc.
